American Society of Employers (ASE) announces its Compensation & Benefits Conference will take place on May 21 at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, MI.
Livonia, Mich. —April 25, 2019 — The American Society of Employers (ASE), one of the nation’s oldest and largest employer associations providing people-management information and services to Michigan employers, announces its 9th annual Compensation & Benefits Conference will be held on Tuesday, May 21 at Suburban Collection Showplace in Novi, Mi.
ASE CEO, Mary E. Corrado, announced the conference and stated, “Getting compensation and total rewards right is more important than ever. “I can reword to: “Offering competitive compensation and total rewards is more important than ever. Organizations needs to compete for and retain talent while remaining compliant – two very big challenges.”
During the conference, ASE will reveal the results of its 2019 compensation surveys. It is the 67th year the surveys have been published.
New this year is an Economic Experts Panel. The Economic Experts Panel will provide attendees valuable insight into how economic conditions may impact their organizations in 2019 and beyond. The panel will consist of:
- Kristen Dziczek, Vice President – Industry, Labor & Economics, Center for Automotive Research
- James E. Robey, Director, Regional Economic Planning Services, W.E. Upjohn Institute for Employment Research
- Sue Yingzi Su, Assistant Director for North America and China Economics, General Motors
- Paul Traub, Senior Business Economist, Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago-Detroit Branch
Session include all topics related to total rewards and include employee recognition, healthcare costs, 401(k) trends, pay for performance, and wellness. The afternoon plenary will be presented by Mickey Silberman from Fortney & Scott, LLC. Mickey will present “Getting Pay Equity ‘Right’”.
