Thermoforming, an engineering process used at Dart to produce cups, begins with simple plastic beads. Energy is then used to heat that plastic in order to transform those beads into our great products —- not unlike our wellness program!
Dart Container’s wellness program has transformed unhealthy individuals into happier, healthier employees who look forward to coming to work each day. They started out simply, by offering a walking path, and have transformed the environment by adding a fitness center, gymnasium, indoor and outdoor volleyball courts, play areas, and a Café for healthy eating. This presentation will outline the DART model used to empower our employees to take charge of their lives by Defining guidelines, encouraging Action, Rewarding continual improvement and Transforming together.
