Walsh College has received a $500,000 grant from The Ralph

  1. Wilson, Jr. Foundation, adding $100,000 to the College’s current Jeffrey C. Littmann Endowed Scholarship and creating the Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Endowed Scholarship with $400,000.

Both endowed funds will help undergraduates who transition to Walsh from a community college. Awards will equal approximately forty percent of a student’s tuition for up to eight semesters.

Created by Ralph C. Wilson in 2011, The Ralph C. Wilson, Jr. Foundation has been funded by the major portion of his estate, which included the National Football League’s Buffalo Bills franchise. Wilson died in 2014.

Wilson created the Jeffrey C. Littmann Endowed Scholarship in 2013 in tribute to his longtime CFO of Ralph C. Wilson Enterprises, LLC. Littmann is a Walsh College alumnus who earned two degrees at the business-focused school: Bachelor of Accountancy in 1977 and Master of Science in Taxation in 1981.

“This generous grant will provide many students with the additional financial support needed to achieve a highly regarded Walsh College business degree,” said Stephanie Bergeron, president and CEO, Walsh College. “We are grateful to the Foundation for its recognition of our students’ academic achievements and their determination to succeed.”

Students interested in applying for the Littmann or Wilson Endowed scholarships can visit www.walshcollege.edu/scholarships for specific application details.
