Deanna S. Hatmaker brings leadership experience to not-for-profit college

 

Deanna S. Hatmaker, Senior Vice President of Development and Strategic Performance for Ulliance, Inc. (Ulliance) has been appointed to the Baker College Business Administration Statewide Advisory Board.  Hatmaker joins the 14-person group in providing guidance and direction to the not-for-profit college’s Business Administration Division.

Hatmaker was selected based on her vast business knowledge, higher education and leadership experience and current involvement with the Baker College of Auburn Hills advisory board. Hatmaker’s business acumen and board experience will contribute insight into a variety of areas including strategic planning, updating curriculum, accreditation, student employment, change implementation, community outreach and input on a statewide and global perspective.

Hatmaker also serves on the KiMe Fund advisory board, is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and the Michigan Council of SHRM – Detroit chapter. She is a past board member of the Ross Business Institute Employer advisory board, Investor’s Credit Union Audit Committee, and past chairperson of the Michigan Unemployment Employer advisory Detroit board.

Among her professional activities, Hatmaker has taught in the SHRM program and holds a Senior Professional of Human Resources (SPHR) designation. She has served as an adjunct instructor at Eastern Michigan University and Baker College, as well as guest lectured at Central Michigan University and the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.

Hatmaker holds a Bachelor of Science in communications and public relations from Eastern Michigan University and a Master of Science and Administration in human resources from Central Michigan University. She also completed the Executive Education program from the Stephen M. Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
